I am a relative novice to WordPress but am learning quickly. I want to be able to restrict a widget to only be visible on one page and only to admins/authors. Is Restrict Widgets the right plugin for this? If so, how?

It’s possible to restrict widget to be displayed on slected page, and for logged in / out user. TO be able to display it for specified user role you’d have to use a filter hook – but we’re working on providing a UI for user roles too.
