    Hello,

I just bought the extension and integrated it in my WordPress instance, but sadly – whyever – it’s not working as expected on post pages. On the home site it’s working fine as it should. For example: http://pkern.at/2015/09/veeam-vsscontrol-failed-to-freeze-guest-wait-timeout/. When you click on any screenshot in the article there, the opacity/overlay does not work and looks broken. On the home site it works for the same screenshots fine.

The second strange behaviour is, that the lightbox is connecting different screenshots from different article on the home site together and making a gallery out of this pics. But why? The pictures within one article should linked to a gallery and not from multiple different posts.

    Thanks for any help.

    Best regards,
    Patrik

Well, somehow it’s now even not working on the home site anymore.

    Hi Patrik,

It seems to be working fine. Images from each posts indeed create a gallery when clicked – it’s controlled by “Single images as gallery” option in plugin settings.

    Hi,

sadly I can’t agree that it works fine. Even after clearing cache – server- and clientside. I heard from multiple people that it looks quite strange. How it looks:

Checking the option you mentioned does work fine, thanks for that.

I’m not sure what you’re asking for, but if you mean the design of the lightbox effect it depends on the lightbox script you have selected in plugin settings.

    Sorry for my unclear description.

Maybe it’s easier to explain it like that: Please compare the both screenshots below. You will see, that my “lightcase lightbox” effect does not look like your demo of the Lightcase Lightbox. On my site the overlay, the exit and navbar are missing.

    Oh, clear now.

Try playin with caching – minify / compress CSS settings especially. We’re using W3 Total Cache here and it works fine – based on experience the minify features of W3TC are to most problematic ones.

Okay, you were right. Disabling “Minify CSS” did the job. But that’s for me just a workaround and no real solution for the future. Other plugins had no such issue so far. I would really like to let the CSS minify setting enabled, may it be possible to try to find a working solution for this? That’d be really great!

Don’t want to deny there may be an issue, but W3 Total Cache is notorious for breaking other plugins. Had several issues myself and ended up having to de-install W3 completely which in itself is a painful process. The issues are known and there is quite a lot of these documented regarding W3 if one cares to simply Google. I would start by completely removing W3 and then go from there… ^^

I didn’t have big troubles with W3 Total Cache yet, this lightbox plugin is the first one. Even all other free lightboxes are working fine. I think that a fix is not unpossible, it can’t be that a big problem, other plugins and the whole theme are working fine with W3. I bought the plugin for 14.90$, so I really would like to have a working premium lightbox on my site – even with the enabled W3 plugin.

Patrik, we’re doing our best to follow WordPress and general coding best practices to make our plugins work smoothly. There are things however over which we have no control – like the way caching plugins handle JS/CSS minification, especially that Responsive Lightbox and it’s extensions are heavily Javascript driven.
