The justified gallery as an add-on to responsive lightbox no longer works – images display really small even though the size is set to ‘full size’.
You can see an example on this post… http://www.kathmanduandbeyond.com/street-art-kaohsiung-taiwan/ but I have several posts which have suddenly started displaying like this (possibly since the recent update).
Is this is a bug? When is it likely to be fixed?
Many thanks14 May 2018 at 14:37 #25435
Are you using the latest versions of both Responsive Lightbox and the Justified Gallery addon?14 May 2018 at 20:51 #25441

I think we have already made a fix for it and will release Justified Gallery 1.1.1 today/ tomorrow.15 May 2018 at 18:31 #25492
Thanks. Yes, I’m using the latest versions of both. But I see from your second reply a bug fix release is due so I will wait patiently! ;-) Many thanks.20 May 2018 at 18:49 #25714
Following the recent update, unfortunately the problem still exists…
Please can you check again.

Any update please? Thanks.29 May 2018 at 11:38 #26081
Hi. Is anyone there? ;-)
Justified gallery is still not working – as previously advised, when a portrait and landscape image are side by side, they display as really tiny.
Please can you advise regarding this asap as I have a lot of effected posts which look pretty bad right now.

I’m tearing my hair out a bit now guys at the lack of acknowledgement… what do I need to do to get a response from support please?5 June 2018 at 15:39 #26274
Sorry for the delay Kristy,
Can you please share an example of the issue on a live site first?5 June 2018 at 16:30 #26278
Are comments being moderated now? Did you get my reply to your comment as it’s not showing?

Perhaps because I included 2 links in my comment it got ‘spammed’ :-)6 June 2018 at 16:13 #26318
What image size have you used for the galleries?
Can we have admin access to your site (using private reply)?9 June 2018 at 15:01 #26391
Images are all set to full size.9 June 2018 at 15:08 #26392This reply has been marked as private.14 June 2018 at 14:22 #26468
Sorry to chase again but it would be really great to get this solved before the weekend – the issue has now been going on for over a month and many of our posts looks terrible because of it.
Please let me know the outcome ASAP or I will have to look for another solution to use instead of Justified Gallery with Responsive Lightbox.
I hope to get a response this time, thank you.16 June 2018 at 11:12 #26524
Similar issues – the latest version is a mess18 June 2018 at 10:20 #26552
You’ve now been in possession of my log in details for over a week… yet I’ve heard nothing from you?!
I really need to know if this will move forward or if I need to look for an alternative?19 June 2018 at 17:09 #26586
I take it from your lack of response that I need to give up on ever getting any support on this and seek a refund? You are certainly not doing much to want to make me renew or give you the 5 star rating on WordPress you ask for every time I open my WP dashboard! Support is non-existent – it’s been almost 6 weeks and nothing. I can’t be the only one having this problem!
I have been more than patient but our website looks terrible and now I am going to have to go back to square one with a huge amount of work to do to get all the affected posts looking OK again.20 June 2018 at 10:52 #26609
Sorry for the delay.
We’ve been checking your site but have a trouble with this issue.
Let’s take this page as an example: http://www.kathmanduandbeyond.com/street-art-kaohsiung-taiwan/
There are multiple images and galleries but only 3 of them are Justified Gallery (the small ones) with only 2 images per gallery. This will not look good as there is not enough data to generate a nice grid.
We’ve added one more image to the last Justified Gallery on the page and now it looks much better. Is that the effect you’re looking for?20 June 2018 at 12:12 #26610
Thanks but the effect I want to achieve is to be able to put 1 x portrait and 1 x landscape image next to each other and for them to fill the width of the page and be the same height. This means creating a gallery of just 2 images. Putting 3 in a row doesn’t produce the result I want and will also mean going back through all the posts to add additional images.
I appreciate that two images is not really a gallery but this is what I was looking for when I purchased the extension and what it did do. It worked well and looked good up until the update some 6 weeks ago…20 June 2018 at 13:29 #26613
We’re checking this locally now. Will let you know any findings.20 June 2018 at 13:38 #26617
Thanks. I’ll wait whilst you check it out.20 June 2018 at 14:42 #26618
Providing I’m not sat here waiting for another 2 weeks that is! ;-)
Please can you give me an update when you’re done so that I know if it can be fixed or not?
Thanks.22 June 2018 at 12:01 #26668
Any further update on this please?
I really need to know whether or not this is an issue that can be resolved and you are working on it or if I need to look for an alternative?
Please respond with some kind of update on the siutation…. Thanks.22 June 2018 at 12:19 #26669
Yes, there will be new version og both – core plugin and the addon. Will send it to you before the official release so you have it faster.22 June 2018 at 12:25 #26670
That’s good news. What is the expected release date? Thanks.24 June 2018 at 14:23 #26741
When is the fix release due please26 June 2018 at 12:30 #26821
Recent Responsive Lightbox & Gallery update (v2.0.5) and Justified Gallery update (1.1.2) should fix the issue. Please check.11 July 2018 at 16:14 #27221
Thanks. It seems to be working again now! :-)
