Hi, I was looking for a calendar plugin and found Events Maker. Is there any way to show a monthly view Calendar in main content area of a page?

Yes, using a widget. You’d have to create a sidebar (in you current theme) in a place you’d like to have a calendar displayed and then add widget to it.

Sorry I wasn’t clear. I meant a large calendar in the main content area, not in the sidebar.

But you mean the calendar looking exactly as the one you can place in the sidebar, just placed in the main content area?

If so my answer is the same. You can create sidebar anywhere in your theme – in header, footer, sidebar or main content area (http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/register_sidebar) and then place any widget there.

I mean NOT as a widget in sidebar, but in the main content area like this.Calendar in main content area

Ok, if you mean using a shortcode – it’s not possible.

Pitty, I have exactly the same question. Would be nice to incorporate shortcodes for this great plugin. Would also provide the possibility to use <?php echo do_shortcode… right in the template.

    Cheers,
    Volker
