1. How to Install Post Views Counter
1.1 Through the WordPress back end
In order to install the Post Views Counter plugin from the WordPress back end, login to your WordPress admin panel and navigate to Plugins > Add New.
Search for Post Views Counter in the Search Plugins box. Next, click the Install Now button.
Once it has finished installing, click the Activate button to activate the Post Views Counter plugin.
1.2 Through an FTP client
If your hosting provider restricts you from installing plugins directly from the admin panel then you can use an FTP client to do so. You will need to download the Post Views Counter plugin from the WordPress repository and extract it to a folder on your machine before you begin.
Login to your FTP client by launching it on your machine and connect to your WordPress website.
Navigate to your WordPress website’s /wp-content/plugins folder from the File Explorer.
Upload the extracted plugin folder to the /wp-content/plugins folder on your web server by right-clicking on the plugin’s title and clicking Upload. The plugin will be installed to your WordPress website.
Now, login to your site’s admin panel and navigate to Plugins > Installed Plugins. You’ll see that the Post Views Counter plugin is added to the list of installed plugins. Click the Activate link under the plugin’s title to activate it.
